Snow
We love snow and we've been pleased as punch that we have been getting our fair share of it.
Very pretty but very cold when the wind blows!
The snow is deep!

Yes, he even climbs trees in the winter!
At least if he falls out, it is a soft landing.
The critters do get spoiled here, plowing a path for them.

Yeah, you'd need a tractor for all that.
SO beautiful!! I have promised the girls a trip this year to see snow (they have never seen it other than in pictures). I am sure they will be pleased as punch as well. If I added animals in the mix also .... well, I don't think I would ever get them back home
Now I just need to pick a place where I wont get altitude sick!

(PS- Does it ever get TOO cold out for the animals? ..... we don't have to worry about that here in south Texas, so it's never something I've really thought about until seeing these pictures)
@LannaM - Yes you do. It really does help. That tractor was one of the best investments we have every made.

Yes it does get cold for them which is why they can get into the barn to get out of the wind etc. If you have a sick animal it's very hard for them.
Beautiful pictures! I came by way of the unschoolers blog ring after reading your description. I hope to own a cow one day! Right now I just live vicariously through those that do.
